Wedding Preparation #2 - Banquet Venue Selection

Back for 2nd instalment of my wedding preparation, banquet venue selection.
If I had my way, my big day would be so much simpler without having the need to fuss and plan so many stuffs HOWEVER, a marriage isn't just between the two of us, it's also involving two families. So we had to scout and plan so many things. Luckily time is still sufficient for us to slowly do the planning.
Yesterday, 30th September 2014, we met up with Suzanna from Qian Xi Group at Qian Xi Lou Farrer Park to view the ballroom. I'm only inviting approximately 150-180 guests so I'm expecting a small yet cosy and comfortable ballroom.
Reached the restaurant at 6.30pm, first impression when I first walked in is still alright. Turned out that ballroom is only available for min 25 tables. Suzanna brought us in to a neighbouring ballroom and to my astonishment, the ballroom is much smaller then I expected and the ceiling is really low. Stage was a tiny mini one at the corner of the room. I immediately expressed my unsatisfaction to Suzanna. She then asked us if we would like to view the one at Mount Faber Safra. So we went ahead.
Boyf drive me there and upon reaching there, I immediately felt that this is the one I wanted. Not too small though not big, cozy, nice view, high ceiling, big enough space for a cocktail reception at the entrance. Discussed and nego some details and paid the deposit.

Scouting of venue isn't much of a tough chore, so finally venue settled. Next will be PG/VG.
