Wedding Preparation #3 - Bridal Studios Visitation

Just finished my long weekend and I'm missing it already. Luckily I'm gonna have another long weekend soon this week for my long awaited BKK trip. Shall blog about it when I return.
So last Saturday having no plans on a Saturday (So no life I know), I had the sudden gush feeling to go visit and survey bridal studios packages and their prices.
Few years back, I made a wish, to wear a wedding gown at least once (My mum didn't had the chance in her previous two marriages). Who knows on Saturday I wore wedding gown at least 8-10 times.
You may view the pictures at my dayre.
Price ranges very big from $1k plus to $4k plus. Thing to note, never think that the more expensive the package is, your experience there will be really good, in fact I met with the lousiest one.
This gown designer I shall name him SAM, was really nice when I enter into the bridal shop and made my enquiry. He even offered me to try on 2 of his gown. I fell in love with it (because that was my first time wearing a wedding gown and gosh they are really pretty). So after trying out and made sure they have my size (I'm a plus size BTB), we went ahead to ask about their package. It turns out to be $4k plus after GST which is way out of our budget hence we turned down nicely by saying let us consider and get back to him. It isn't a small amount for us. If we were really to splurge on this, we also have to calculate if we can minus off some budget on other stuffs we thought. Who knows after hearing me say let us consider, SAM's face immediately turned black and looked down on us. I asked if he can offer us a discount (so we can minus not so much budget from other stuffs) he kept on repeating you come back already then see how lor. Seriously -.-'''
So I went on to other bridal shops and still got some pleasant experience although we also mention let us consider first. I didn't plan to confirm any packages on that day as my motive is to survey and compare the prices.
So BTBs if you were to chance upon this blog, remember not to confirm anything on your first visit. Best is don't bring the money there so you won't be tempted to confirm anything. Because what you experience first may not be what you will be experiencing later.
Sorry no pictures today, maybe my restaurant pictures on my next post ☺
